High Pastures is a non-denominational, CCCA-affiliated Christian retreat center that functions as a non-profit and has a passion to see Christians deepen their faith and make a difference in the lives around them.
What is there to do?
Our 800 acres is provides our guests hours of hiking, creekin’ and enjoying the outdoors. Guided hikes are available upon request. A volleyball court is centrally located by the dining hall. High Pastures is a great stepping stone for local attractions like white water rafting, fly fishing, tubing, skiing, and much more.
Can we cook our own meals?
All facilities come with a fully functioning kitchen where you are welcome to cook meals for your group. However, we would love to keep you out of the kitchen and with your group as much as possible. Let us do your meals for you and save you the trouble! We offer delicious food through our favorite local restaurant Pig and Grits.
How long in advance does a group need to book a retreat?
We recommend they book at least 3 months in advance for school year retreats, and 6 months in advance for summer. Space is on first-come, first-served basis, so don’t miss out on your retreat!
Is High Pastures open year-round?
Yes! We are open to guests all months of the year!
Why do you do what you do?
Our ultimate mission is to change the landscape of the American church by infusing it with leaders with a clear, correct and communicable faith. Through our year-round retreats, we want to help people gain a clear, biblical perspective on real-life issues. More importantly, we want Christians to see Christ and understand the tremendous gift He offers through the Gospel.
