Marriage is one of God's greatest gifts, but the busyness of life, unmet expectations, and the weight of everyday responsibilities can often leave couples feeling disconnected from one another and, more importantly, disconnected from the Lord.
Inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken,” Three Strands is built on the belief that the strongest marriages are not simply those with better communication or more practical tools, but those rooted firmly in Christ. While many couples come hoping to improve their marriage, our focus is first to help each individual turn their face toward Jesus and then ask what that renewed relationship with Him means for their relationship with their spouse.
This fall, we'll explore the topics of shame and joy and how the Gospel speaks into both. Through biblical teaching, meaningful conversations, and intentional time together, our hope is that couples leave refreshed, encouraged, and experiencing the abundant life Christ desires for their marriage.
